New 360 degree / 3D proximity sensor - IRCF360™ - self assembly kits

Based on user feedback, we have designed a new sensor module with 360 degree proximiy sensing.

This is a complete redesign; based on a PIC16F88. We have also reduced the number of external components to an absolute minimum using no small surface mount devices - making the soldering as simple as possible for beginners.

Please note: We are a just a small group of enthusiasts doing this stuff in our spare time. We are still in the process of getting the sensor boards into production which will taking more time than expected due to CE markings and regulations, etc.Just contact us here and leave a message if you are interested and we'll keep you updated on the progress.

Infrared Control FreakLIGHT™ 360 degree

(IRCFL360)

(KIT VERSION)

The IRCFL360 is a 5cm dia 6-in-1 programmable multi-functional sensor module with 360-degree infrared proximity sensing, ambient light sensing capability, including IR remote control TX and RX functionality to control your robot remotely or for inter-robot communication. The small design is ideal to fit on smaller micro swarm robots or for robot gaming. All this without any moving parts!

NOTE: This is our new 360 degree sensor which is currently in Beta testing phase. We are currently obtaining CE approval and will inform you when we are ready for production.

Infrared Control FreakLIGHT™ 180 degree

(IRCFL)

(KIT VERSION)

NOTE: This version is not currently being produced and is currently being redesigned from scratch. Please contact us if you are interested and we'll notify you when these are produced again.

The IRCFL is a 6-in-1programmable multi-functional sensor module with approximate 180-degree infrared proximity sensing, ambient light sensing capability including IR remote control TX and RX functionality to control your robot remotely or for inter-robot communication. Fitted with 3 IR sensors it interprets the direction of IR signals - which is particular useful for robot gaming or beacons.
