Extending the range of the IRCF360

To extend the range on the IRCF360 is easy. We found the best solution is to place a small clear plastic dome over the sensor. These are normally available from hobby shops or also from ROBOTmaker's shop.

The dome should have a small disk of reflective material on the top. We just use a washer and aluminium foil stuck together as follows:
